    Most R34s on the market have been through several owners, a few rebuilds and a lot of guessing. This one had a single owner and 40,000 kilometers. That is the kind of car that rarely leaves Japan, and the reason the rest of the build was worth doing.

    We didn't stop at the car

    While the car was still in Japan, we tracked down genuine Nismo and Z-tune parts. Some of these are close to impossible to find today, especially the real Z-tune body pieces.

    Every part went on in Japan, by people who work on these cars every day. The car was completed there before it was ever loaded on a ship, so nothing arrived in boxes.
